Established in 1984, Vickers Metal Works, Inc. is located in Orlando, Florida and operates from a 12,000 square foot facility. Our Sheet Metal Shop is equipped with a wide range of machinery from old-time forming equipment to the latest CNC fabricating machines. We pride ourselves on maintaining a clean and well organized shop. This allows Vickers Metal Works to operate with the utmost efficiency, thereby providing our customers with a quick turnaround time and superior quality on each project. Small jobs can usually be done "same-day" and every effort is made to complete large projects according to the customer's schedule.

Vickers Metal Works CAD department can view and interpret most digital drawing formats. We use Auto-Cad and Auto-Sketch to edit and create simple 2D drawings. For realistic renderings, parts and assembly modeling we use SolidWorks 2007 to ensure our shop drawings will produce the desired result in metal. Combining over 30 years of experience with modern 3-dimensional computer modeling, allows us to design parts accurately and to anticipate possible problems that can be overcome before fabrication. Computer design also improves communication with our CNC machines for extremely accurate layout, cutting, punching, forming and assembly of parts.

	Tim and Sue Vickers My father Tom and I started our business in 1984, after working together since 1975. Sue, who majored in Accounting, came on board to run our office. Building on the reputation that my father had established as being the top sheet metal mechanic in the area since 1946, our vision was to offer the finest quality sheet metal products and service in the Central Florida area. Dave Havens Vice President… started with Vickers Metal Works in 1985.   After completing his apprenticeship, Dave spent many years in the shop and field learning the trade … In 2001, after taking the state examination, Dave received his State Certified Sheet Metal Contractors license. Dave now heads up our estimating department, and assists with the overall day to day operations of our company. Dave works closely with both managers, Ron and Dennis, to ensure that all projects are completed as required. State Certified #CSC056683
	Ron Thomas Field Operations Manager … started with our company in 1984 as the first employee of Vickers Metal Works. After completing his apprenticeship, Ron worked in the field, honing his skills on many of the most high profile metal projects in the area.  Ron oversees our theme-park field operations, where he schedules jobs, and assists with the more difficult installations.  Ron's motto is "If it's metal, we can do it"
Dennis Sutherlin Shop Operations Manager … started with our company in 1986.  During his apprenticeship, Dennis was awarded the Top Apprentice in the Southeast Region during his 4th year, then represented the Southeast Region at the National Contest, where he placed 4th in the nation.  Dennis oversees our CAD / Design department, schedules all shop fabrication, and assists with estimating.  Dennis makes sure your project is done right ... from design to completion.
	Kathy Brunelle Office Assistant / Receptionist … started with our company in 2004. Kathy greets each customer with a smile and is the friendly voice you hear when calling. She is great at helping to keep our office running smoothly.
Liz Havens Office Assistant ...  Liz assists with billing and accounts payable.
